announces partnership with Marion County

The Mid  Iowa Small Business Development Center (SBDC) announced today that it is partnering with Marion County to provide business counseling at Pella and Knoxville at least two days per month.

Christina Moffatt, Regional Director of the Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center, says, “This Center is intended to be a community resource for local businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs. I am so happy the Mid Iowa SBDC is a vital part of this new satellite office.”

The SBDC will be in Pella the second Tuesday of every month at the Pella Chamber of Commerce and in Knoxville the fourth Thursday of the month at City Hall.  To schedule an appointment in Pella call 641-628-2626 and Knoxville call 641-828-0550 ext 7.

The Iowa Small Business Development Center program is an outreach program of Iowa State University’s College of Business. Partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration, the organization has 15 regional assistance centers located strategically across the state and one international trade center located centrally. Since program inception in 1981, the Center has helped hundreds of thousands of Iowa businesses and entrepreneurs through free, customized, professional business counseling and practical, affordable training.
