2012 Leadership Red Rock Class Graduates

Who Are We…

Since 1993, Leadership Red Rock has become one of the most respected multi-community leadership training programs of its type in the Midwest. We educate, enlighten and inspire class participants to cultivate their personal leadership potential. The ultimate goal of Leadership Red Rock is to develop a core of informed leaders qualified to meet the future challenges in growing our economy and enhancing our quality of life.

Over 400 people have graduated from the program and this diverse group represents individuals from all walks of life interested in the Red Rock Area. Whether you are new to this area or have lived here all your life, Leadership Red Rock will provide a wide range of experiences and insights.

What We Offer…

Hands-on learning, small group activities, tours, panel discussions, team building exercises and presentations are all part of the mix that provides participants with new perspectives and contacts. Participants meet from September through May at various sites around Marion County. Seminars provide an opportunity to meet current leaders and learn about new developments.

How Do I Participate?

Complete an application prior to the deadline listed on the application.  A committee reviews each application and makes selection of class participants. The ideal class size is 20 participants.  Leadership Red Rock strives to have a diverse class representing varied backgrounds, communities, professions and interests.  Each individual must complete an application. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance at least one week prior to the first seminar.  Attendance at each class is essential.  Participants are expected to attend all seminars. Absences are allowed in cases of extreme personal emergency or unavoidable business conflicts. Attire is business casual.

Program Costs…

Tuition for Leadership Red Rock is $175 per individual or $495 for a team of 3 participants from one employer or organization. The tuition fee is nonrefundable and includes:  meals, seminar materials, speaker fees, graduation, resource booklet and shirt.

Generally, it has been our experience that employers are willing to underwrite the tuition cost as part of their training budget. Check with your employer to see what type of assistance may be available. Employers are encouraged to make sending a team of participants to Leadership Red Rock part of their annual human resource-training plan.
